An Environmental Trend
Our mission is to ensure our customers the finest products while affecting the environment in a positive way and honoring our employees. Thanks to Fair Trade, Bamboo, and the Organic Cotton Industry, that is a possibility.

Conventionally grown cotton requires more hazardous pesticides than any other field crop in the world, a major contribution to green house gases. An estimated 3/4 pounds of chemical pesticides and fertilizers are used to produce one pair of jeans. Aside from the obvious runoff into our precious ocean, numerous cases of cancers and other disease have been reported in areas growing typical cotton. Traces of the chemicals can remain in a finished fabric, leaving a hazardous chemical to interact with each consumer it touches, near or far from the source. For the health of our customers, employees, family, friends, and the environment, Unyted has decided to source only the finest eco-friendly materials for our products.

The Dig on Bamboo
Bamboo has the potential to be one of the most sustainable natural fibers on earth. It can grow up to three feet overnight(yes, three feet!) and reach a mature height of 75 feet in less than three months. Bamboo is 100% biodegradable and has a natural anti-bacterial component, eliminating the need for pesticides. It also uses a fraction of the water cotton requires, thriving on minimal rainfall, even tolerating drought. It produces 35% more oxygen and reduces five times the amount of greenhouse gases than its equivalent in trees. Not to mention Bamboo is a lighter fiber than cotton, making it silky soft and more breathable, while retaining the same durability.

The Organic difference
Organically grown cotton, although less green than its Bamboo alternative, has a more efficient weaving structure. To extract the fibers from Bamboo hasn't reached its full potential in "green"ability For this reason, Unyted has decided to continue producing Organic Cotton clothing as well.

Fair Trade
Often, when a company looks overseas to manufacture their product at a lower cost, they don't take into consideration the reason behind the price drop. Usually this means an inconceivably
low wage for its hard workers; also known as Sweatshop work. Unyted is seeking to uplift the human race, not subjugate it. We have sourced our products through "Fair Trade" manufacturers-meaning we put our employees and the environment first.
